The Company

RDA Design Group is a hospitality and foodservice facility planning and design consulting firm serving the foodservice industry since 1988. We offer a wide range of professional planning and design services.

Our goal is to deliver quality work to better serve the needs of our clients. We continually update our designs to meet standards and our client's expectations. RDA understands the need for accountability, cost effectiveness, timelines, and written documentation of the project development process.

Our commitment is to learn the needs and goals of our clients. We incorporate experience to better work with the architectural design teams and thereby continue to improve the overall project, while at the same time keeping it simple.

Richard Dobbs, FCSI
Principal in Charge

Richard is responsible for the coordination and direction of the project team and coordination with the clients. He is directly involved with each phase of the projects ensuring strict conformance with applicable regulations, schedules, budgets, and other requirements as determined by the needs of the project. Richard has over twenty years of experience as a project manager and coordinator, which include his years of assisting as project manager with the Department of Defense. Fifteen of those years have been spent in project planning, design, and development. Richard also has an extensive background in assessments of future projects, budgeting, site selections, and the remodel of existing facilities to meet new and on-going changes in operations.

EDUCATION:

  • University of Southern California, College of the Desert
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army Logistics, U.S. Army Advance Logistics Programming & Management.

PROFESSIONAL: FFCI - Recognized by peers as a professional Food Service Facility Design Consultant; FCSI: Nominated for membership in (FCSI) Foodservice Consultant Society International. Certified by the U.S. Army Quartermaster/Logistics & Support Services Manager; Recognized as a professional Project Manager for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Jerilyn Silver-Duran
Project Manager

Jerilyn has over six years experience with designing foodservice facilities. She has experience in different fields, such as, furniture design and landscape architecture. Her knowledge of art and design make her valuable to our professional team and plays a key roll in the overall design function and flow of the foodservice facility.
